NoPads: 10 years…

Today is a special date, because ten years ago, Simple Plan’s first album, “No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls“, was released and lead them out of Canada to the radios of all the countries in the world, increased by the videoclip “Perfect”, known in all the places.

The album was produced by Arnold David Lanni, released by Atlantic Records and gas 13 songs (not counting with the deluxes), having:

My Christmas List
One by One
Grow Up
American Jesus [cover of the band Bad Religion]

Also, in some places of the world, a DVD was released that shows the first videos of the first tour of the album.

Simple Plan – New Years Eve on Niagara Falls

Simple Plan announced via Twitter that will perform in a very special moment: the New Years Eve on Niagara Fall, on Queen Victoria Park. The event will be transmitted by the Global TV, live, at 10 p.m., on December 31st.

Also, others artists were invited: Our Lady Peace, The Sheepdogs, Keshia Chante e Stephanie McIlroy.

According to SP.cz, about 40.000 people will be present on it because the event had a big success last year, when the record was 2 million viewers.

As you guys know, today this dude becomes 32, and he’s on the road for more than one decade, giving his blood to Simple Plan.

“Get Your Heart On” is the title of the new album

The April 27th news on Jet Lag Airlines graphics is a Rio’s flight update with the new album title, which will be called “Get Your Heart On“.

Yesterday, March 19, was a day very special because it was launched nine years ago the first album by Simple Plan, “No Pads, No Helmets … Just Balls”, an album that would lead to the Simple Plan outside Canada directly to the radio stations throughout the world. Today March 19th marks a special day in Simple Plan history. 9 years ago, the world was introduced to Simple Plan when “No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls” was released. The guys feel so blessed, honoured and grateful that they are still able to play music in front of the best fans in the world. Simple Plan could not be where they are today without you, their most amazing fans!. So a BIG thank you for the best 9 years of their lives and here’s to another 9 years and a brand new album coming June 21st. So get ready world, here we come!!!
