NoPads: 10 years…

Today is a special date, because ten years ago, Simple Plan’s first album, “No Pads, No Helmets… Just Balls“, was released and lead them out of Canada to the radios of all the countries in the world, increased by the videoclip “Perfect”, known in all the places.

The album was produced by Arnold David Lanni, released by Atlantic Records and gas 13 songs (not counting with the deluxes), having:

My Christmas List
One by One
Grow Up
American Jesus [cover of the band Bad Religion]

Also, in some places of the world, a DVD was released that shows the first videos of the first tour of the album.

Celebrating the 10 years of the releasing of No Pads, No Helmet… Just Balls, the official website of Simple Plan published a note talking that the guys will be doing a special chat and are inviting everybody to join it on Monday, at 12 PM. You can check the post below:

This Monday will mark the 10 year anniversary of Simple Plan’s No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls release! Help us celebrate the 10 year anniversary by posting video messages to the band telling them your fondest memories of NPNHJB. Whether you just want to talk about your favorite song, or favorite show from the 2002 era, doesn’t matter!

You can upload to youtube and pull them into our Messages to SP video category, or just upload the video directly to the category. Tag them with #NoPads10 so we can find them and maybe some will be featured on the site!

New time for the chat this Tuesday

The chat was scheduled for Tuesday at 1:30 PM, (Brasilia time), but now according to SP.com, it is rescheduled and it’s gonna happen at 12:05 PM in Brasília time (5:05 PM in Germany.
