Simple Plan Rock NYC for Sold Out CD Release Show
Masters of the Pop-punk genre Simple Plan, featuring loyal Framus guitar and amp endorser Sebastien Lefebvre, played a monumental sold-out show at NYC’s historic Gramercy Theatre in honor of the release of their new record “Get Your Heart On” released the same day, June 21st, 2011.
The band played not only their famous crowd pleasing hits, but also played for the first time some of the cuts off of their new record. A packed house was given an unforgettably energetic performance by the Canadian five-piece, whose hit songs have garnered them international acclaim and the honor of multiple gold and platinum record sales throughout their career.
Rhythm guitarist and back-up vocalist Sebastien Lefebvre executed the crucial guitar lines on his preferred Framus instruments, which consisted of both stock and customized Mayfields. The guitars sounded great as a backbone for the tightly executed, humorous, and downright fun music the band is known for.
Their new Album “Get Your Heart On” was released on June 21st, 2011 on
Lava/Atlantic Records.
